n Tuesday, 11th of November 2008, at 10:00AM, the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School welcomed the President of "Œuvre D'Orient" (
www.oeuvre-orient.fr) of France, Msgr. Philip
Brizard. He was accompanied by Mr. Patrick Liban and Mrs. Eva Bartoli (Project Manager). Escorting the guests, the Most Reverend Father Kevork Yeghiayan was present, as well as Msgr. Vartan Ashkarian.
The guests were welcomed by the principal of the college, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust. They all participated in a lengthily conversation in the principal's office. In order to have a closer look to Mesrobian, the principal guided them to have a tour within the campus.
After visiting the different departments of Mesrobian High School and Mesrobian Technical College, the guests got acquainted to "Faradjian" Auditorium, Mesrobian Kindergarten and the newly opened "Abraham Nerguizian" library. During their visit to the Elementary Section, they participated to a music class, where students greeted them with a song.
Finally, the guests headed towards the statue of St. Mesrob, where they had a traditional souvenir picture taken. Msgr. Philip Brizard expressed his admiration towards the college to Mr. Gregoire saying: "I congratulate everybody for the huge labor that I witnessed. I am greatly impressed by this school. I believe you have worked hard and I wish you continue with the same pace in the future."
